Who is this random wandering girl?

Hey!

Wanderess Abbie

I’m Abbie aka Wanderess Abbie!

I’m a California raised girl who left her small cow town for dreams of making it in the city. I discovered a love for travel at an early age. I was a Navy brat and my dad would often tell me stories of his world adventures “at sea.” That sparked an interest in me to want to see the world for myself.

My full-time job is “making magic” for a mouse. Unfortunately, for now, that means that I only get to travel twice a year. However, that doesn’t stop me from incorporating travel into my every day life!

Photography is a new hobby for me. I recently started going back to school (after a 5 year hiatus) to see where that path will lead me, and so I welcome you into this new journey in my life.

For several years I struggled with my finances for my travels and that’s when the Minimalism movement fell on me completely by surprise and by accident. I stumbled across a documentary on Netflix called Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things. I fell in love with the idea of living a simpler life and so I started incorporating that mindset into my every day life.

“Wanderlust consumed her; foreign hearts and exotic minds compelled her. She had  gypsy soul and a vibrant hope for the unknown.”–d. marie
